ASD adult self-soothing strategis

Note: This is based on my personal experience; following ways are ranked by level of stress and emotional intensity in ascending order:
- Breathe deeply, release tension
- Walk around / stretch body / swing arms / jump
- Drinking plenty of sparkling water/coconut water/milk
- Listen to my fav music playlist or watch fav episodes of a movie/drama
- Grounding in a quite space e.g. bookshop/coffeeshop/library/private lavatory
- Organize my space/myself to obtain a sense of control: sorting room, deep-cleaning, showering, washing face, brushing hair
- Run/PT session, Bus tour, Wandering aimlessly
- Distracting activities: high-intensity exercise, massage, journaling
- Talking therapy
- Sleep with my pillow
