of all people, I have as much experience in life as anybody to know how distasteful and prone to procrastination it is, in nearly in all cases:

to have something friggin' to do that has taken a while already—

no 'all clear' signal, yet, to indicate our wish time enough has passed, the task is void—

and with a lot of effort already having been expended in not doing the thing, to boot:

that, given all this, how much more hopeful we become, increasingly, that the impulse to continue delaying would wither from continual lack of a future version of ourselves doing the horrible thing in question and actually moving beyond it.

Maybe in Heaven there are some things have a good reason be done, and press to be done, then do not have to be, by a miracle—not in the body we all share, however, in this earth, for the fundamental reason that all things that are made of the stuff of things left undone stand in contrast to those that are made of Love, for to undo is not the same as not to do.

To undo creation: to love.

To not create: fear.

There are only two emotions: Love, and fear, and, of these, only Love is real. —ACIM
