I hate the community events in Malaysian education institutions where each department has to send someone to participate. Rather than forcing people to join, why don't you make it interesting enough for people to join voluntarily, make it enticing enough to join. And I hate especially when there's a minimum participation for both men and women each. That discriminate departments with lack of men or women. Since I'm the only man in this department, that would mean that I have to participate in every single event, which is not fair at all. The minimum requirement for participation is ridiculous. People are essentially joining under duress, not under their own accord. This needs to change in the education system.
