I'm a big fan of Peter Elbow. More than any other person, he's helped me to embrace the writing process. Until now I've never tried his suggestions for writing poetry, though. Musing on Language

Time in the market beats timing the market. I'm realizing that the same is true of language. Working with a language slowly and consistently, reading and writing and playing, does more for your mastery than an inconsistent study of it.
