Focus on things that truly matter

If you had to fight a giant (say, the strongest person in the world) 100 days from now, and it's a win-or-die type of fight, here’s what matters:
"You being alive on the day 101"
Which is powered by:
Your planning and execution over the next 99 days - building strength, right eating habits, improving technique and focus, training rigorously, developing a winning spirit and faith, etc. [strategy]
How you perform on the 100th day to win the fight. [tactics]
Now, here are the things that don’t matter:
What your family think of you.
Your social media reach when you announce the fight.
What your friends and family think about the giant.
How hard the giant trains, what type of workout he does, what food he eats, or what he thinks and says about you.
What you think about yourself, your current strength, your experience up to this point, or what you plan to do after winning.
Who comes to watch the fight, how many people arrive, and what they think or say during or after the fight.
How wealthy your family is, how strong your father is, or how much he supports you.
Your or the giant’s qualifications.
Focus on things that truly matter.
