DAY020: TOP SEARCH ENGINES

todays blog abt some take on search engines on the blog series of #the121

seARCh engines have been around us for like more than 3 decades, and even while in the era of ai chatbots, which can almost finish our whole research in on promt, search engines are still our daily drivers for core researching, cs its just works and we just got adopted to it and ai chatbots also makes mistakes, so its still cant replace the way of searching for informations for us, thats why some big search engines even adopted an ai overview in the search results lists

but ppls still turning off it anyways, why, does it makes the search bad, no, it just reads the top sites for us and and overview of what we gonna found on those sites or what core informations out there

but yeah, this costs power & performance, so the loading sometimes takes longer than usual, but whats the latency, well not very much, and on most good performance phones or devices its not a issue at all, so why ppls still turning it off, idk, maybe there just insecure in the use of too much ai on every sites nowadays, and small amount of performance issues, but i really dont see it as a big issue, i use it

and the main reason ai dont able to replace search engines is, it just works, ai dont give u infos from all sites at all, and most of the time it gives wrong infos, just technical problems, but not all times, sometimes, but still it does

so search engines just got adopted to us research purposes, cs most advanced and popular search engines always shows most visited sites at the top, since they tend get more clicks & most of the time they tends be legit since more and more ppls visits them and got satisfied with their services, and thats why finding infos are still depended on search engines more than ai chatbots

but we shouldnt use all search engines, cs some of them stoles our data to improve their experience, and seems to be a fair thing to do which it isnt cas those search engines collects more personal data than they needed to improve their search engines, they use those data to provide ads and their sponsored sites more than the actual important sites, and this is not done by some random companies, its done by some of the big tech giants

so the popular search engine is google search since it covers more than 95% searches over the globe, which is higher than any search engine out there, so it should have have more accurate search results right, well not so much, most of the time it just shows ads & their specific sponsors over other sites & now their ai overview which also kinda sucks in matter of the purpose of searching, and most importantly their practices on collecting our data and using it full freely

so the best privacy focused & accuracy master search engine in the market should be brave search, and there are many more but brave just stands out all of them for its simplicity & similarities, and their are more accurate & even some open source search engines which are best for pro users but brave just works great for any avarage ppls, and another great option is duckduckgo which is also incredibly useful as well as secure, and i cant forget to mention bing, which acts fairly different than brave & google but finds infos that are actually important and legit, not so privacy focused though but fair enough to use for daily

so thats it, seeyall tomorrow, connect me on my socials

have a better life...
