DAY027: BASIC OF DOMAIN NAMES P2

so im here again with my another blog of #the121 my daily blog series, wi[h completing the story of my previous blog

here i have already talked abt the first part, u can read that by checking my previous blog by clicking on first (...) of this blog

well the second part is most important one which is "www.sub.domain.com", here the part "domain" is considered as the actuall brand or site name, its the name part and it can be anything

after that comes .com, which many of u already familar with since it mentioned on so many places, it called tld or top level domains

it cant be just random string, there are a massive amount this tlds registered on internet providers and on ICANN, i'll talk abt it later, just know that only registered tlds can be used, and there a lot of them, even .lol is an tld now, idk who registerred this one but its an art of work, as all of u maybe guessed that .com is the most used one tld, and some more are .co, .org, .inc, and recently .ai became also very famous which u might know why

the part that coming infront of is "www", this part u can call essential or additional, why, cs its no so important nowdays but still big techs use it, i dont actually know why, while some suggests for security purposes but idk how, but based on my little research its not that much important at all, so u can sharp ur mind by doing a research on it and me know what u found by connecting me on my socials

and now the part after it, whi'h i mentioned as "sub", well this is an very usefull part, if anyones owns a domain lets say ali.com, he also own all sub domains of it whivh are x.ali.com where x can be anything, any word or number but not all symbols supported, just (-) supported, and subdomains are very usefull as u can see u dont have buy many different domains for same companies diffrent service, instead u can use service.ali.com, mail.ali.com, work.ali.com or anything else, and yeah ali.com is still useable of its own if u want it to do anything else, and the funny fact is that some popular domains evem sells their subdomains, one of them is it.com and...
