The natural gas was shut off this morning when I went to try the stove. Unfortunate.
The strong winds have been consistent throughout the night and into today. A large branch fell near the front door. No damage; I lugged it into the driveway.
The Palisades fire is really bad, along with the Eaton fire in Altadena. Those are far enough away, but I just noticed a new fire called the Freddy Fire which is to the north, near Leo Carrillo State Park. That has me a little bit concerned. I will continue to monitor.
I'm using the Watch Duty app.
