- Try not to use vulgar language.
 - Be grateful for what you have and stop wanting more.
 - Tell the truth.
 - Don’t preach about being good or bad.
 - Don’t point out other people’s faults.
 - State the facts.
 - Try to be empathetic with people with when discussing their issues.
 - Use technology, don’t let technology use you.
 - Try not to be frivolous with money, it is hard to earn and too easy to spend.
 - Let the people you love know it.
 - Be respectful.
 - Stand your ground.
 - Do not raise your voice.
 - Listening can be far more effective than talking.
 - Be accountable.
 - Don’t take people for granted.
 - Write things down that affect you.
 - Learn to be patient.
 - Learn from your own mistakes.
 - Let others learn from their own mistakes.
 - Be punctual. Apologise when you are late.
 - Expect to fail and be okay with it.
 - Don’t hide from your emotions, some are not nice. Facing them will make you a better person.
 - Discuss, don’t argue.
 - Admit when you are wrong.
 - Don’t brag about being right, it’s not classy.
 - Nothing is free. Accept it.
 - Don’t expect other people to care about your situation, issues or problems. Empathy is not a given.
 - Anger and rage are not desirable or productive. Avoid if you can.
 - Ask for advise from those you feel have the experience to comment appropriately.
 - Manners cost nothing and mean everything.
 - Be direct, but understand this will be mistaken for rudeness by others.
 - Be modest.
