Lullaby

Distraction is sometimes a good thing.
When you feel crappy, doing something you like can help lift the feeling of dread and frustration. Listen to music, exercise, read a book.
Do something for yourself. Prioritise your mental health. It’s too easy to forget about those little breaks, the moments of rightful egoism that you NEED. Everybody does. Just for once, ignore what other people say, think, do, and simply take some time for you own well-being.
That, of course, requires you to know what helps you relax, which isn’t easy to find out. In my opinion, you gotta try things until one fits, which can be exhausting, I know. But once you’ve found your thing, it will be of the utmost importance, I can assure you.
Or ask the people around you. You can also spend time with them, if it makes you feel better. We don’t need social interaction all the time, keep that in mind, but often it is exactly what we need — a welcome distraction.
Even school can fulfil this purpose, though I wouldn’t rely on it. After all, more often than not, it’s a source of stress, not relaxation.
Good luck in finding your perfect fit, and don’t forget: It’s all about trying.
Peace out,
Emilia
