I have been away too long. The summer field season drained me in ways I did not expect and made it so I had very little energy to do much else other than work and sleep with the occasional eat. I did get to see some gorgeous landscapes but even those I did not get to enjoy in a way I would have liked.
On the plus side, I am just starting a new job, that isn't just a field season but will get to do field work all year long. I will have office work to do, too, but I can manage that. it is all procedures I am interested in learning. I am actually excited to see where this goes.
