2Ti 3:16-17 - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

(E) Explain

All scripture is breathed out, guided, written, inspired by God. Man has physically written it, but God, in His purposeful sovereignty, has directed the outcome. Because of this, it has great value in training and correcting us, me. The result of the training and correcting is that man shall be complete and equipped for God's service and good works and blessing.

(A) Apply

I must never ever forget the value of God's Word in my life. This must drive me into His Word more and more to allow it to cut to the bone and transform me. Heb 4:12 - For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Lord God, please grant me a hunger for your WORD! Amen.
