The Spirit of God is in us.

The Spirit of God is in us.

Proverbs 19:2 states, "Desire without knowledge is not good—how much more will hasty feet miss the way."

Proverbs 20:5 "The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out."

How many times have you heard something and said, "Wow, that is deep?" You even find yourself thinking when someone walks up to you and starts talking, but you are not really listening to them because you are in "deep thought." The one who is speaking may not know you are in deep thought. They can't understand you are focused and in full concentration. While he knows what he is thinking, and for him, it is deep; even for him to explain it, often it never comes out the way it is in his mind.
Perhaps you don't know them well, or well enough to understand, and the connection is veiled between you and them until the veil is lifted.
What separates is removed, and then communication takes place. Often, the remark is said, "We're on the same page."

1 Corinthians 2:11 "For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also, no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God."

We could never understand God's thoughts. His thoughts are beyond deep. They are far above us and in more ways than one.
Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
But what if the veil of mystery was lifted and you began to understand God's thoughts? What a wonderful world it would be. To see things God's way on a subject just might be the solution. You think!
This is why it is vital to have a personal connection with him.
His Spirit dwelling in you opens doors of wisdom; volumes of knowledge so vast and windows of understanding.

1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God."

Does this mean we will fully understand God and His thoughts?  No!
But the verse here says, ..."We might fully understand the things freely given us by God."
The point is we will fully understand those things God freely has given, to us, to understand.
If we were to know all there is to know about God, the question would be..." who needs God?"  That is our limitation and that is the reason why we Trust God and not man.

1 Corinthians 2:13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

Notice also that only those who are spiritual can know the truths of God and his wisdom. Worldly people will not understand.
He helps believers to know the truth.

2 Corinthians 3:16-18: This verse states that when someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away, and they can see the glory of the Lord.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

As mentioned already, we will not know ALL of God's thoughts, but we will know ALL of what is given for us to know.

John 16:15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
This is because the Holy Spirit dwelling in us leads us to the truths that set us free.

John 8:31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
God's way is not as restrictive as one might think, "Thou shalt not..."

But his ways bring life because he is the giver of life. Life is freedom when we trust God.
