அவர்களைப்பற்றி நாம் பாராட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கத் தேவையென்ன?

நமக்கு முன்பாக வாழ்ந்த பேரறிஞர் தம்மை நாம் தொடர வேண்டுவதில்லை.

அவர்தம் உணர்வின் எல்லைக்குமேல் நாம் நம் உணர்வைச் செலுத்திக்கொண்டு போகவேண்டும்.

தரையிலிருந்து நம்மை ஒருவன் தூக்கி, அவன் தலை வரை உயர்த்துவானானால், நாம் நம் தலைக்குமேல் என்ன இருக்கின்றது என்பதையே காண வேண்டுமல்லாது, நம்மைத் தூக்கி நிறுத்தியவனை நாம் குனிந்து பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கத் தேவையில்லை.

நமக்கு முன்னால் உள்ள அறிஞர்களும், சமயத் துறவிகளும், நம்மை இத் தன்மைக்குக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளனர். இனி நாம் அவர்கட்குமேல் நம்மை நடத்திக் காட்டவேண்டும், இந்நிலையில் அவர்களைப்பற்றி நாம் பாராட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கத் தேவையென்ன?
