Compromise
February 3, 2023•120 words
When two people decide,
Sometimes personalities collide,
Causing unsettling worries, doubts, and fears,
Pushing most, even the strongest ones to tears.
The idiosyncrasies of individuals,
Often strain companionships,
Friendships, and relationships.
Therefore, it is always wise,
To reach a happy compromise.
We often in this crazy world negotiate,
The smallest things we navigate,
Yet agreements deteriorate,
Or not even met,
The latter might be too late.
Thus, compromises we must make,
To ensure nothing does ever break,
Or at least a little strain would be subject,
No devastation is in effect.
Should anyone not heed the advice of compromise,
A point of no return is reached,
A void of indifference has materialized,
This can not be easily undone,
Or breached.
