A Lending Ear

Even when strangers share their issues,
Building up snot and soiled tissues,
A bond is made, isn't it quite peculiar?
That despite not knowing each other well,
Stories brew and experiences tell.

Once you find a stranger who,
You've only met a minute or two,
Yet lends an ear or two to you,
You may have found a precious gem,
Keep them company
When they need you too!

Happy is the one who finds a friend such as this,
Who thinks of the other and shares in their bliss,
In their hopes and trials, and in reminisce,
Never lose or make one miss!
