"Even a worm will turn"

In the midst of lamenting my lack of clear purposeful talent and gift to the world I stumble upon this proverb... and immediately I’m touched to my core and reminded of my love for proverbs and the written word.

”Write I must”..

For the avoidant one.. we are the worms of the world.. but even we will turn. What does this mean?

Wikipedia says: “is an English language expression used to convey the message that even the meekest or most docile of creatures will retaliate or seek revenge if pushed too far.“

Phrases.org.uk says: “Even the humblest and weakest will retaliate if provoked sufficiently.”

I say: It is life.
