Psalm 60

David confesses that God's people suffered defeat because God withdrew His help when His people sinned. In like manner, New Testament believers experience spiritual defeat in our churches, families, and personal lives because God's Spirit has been offended by our sin and conformity to the world around us. We must turn to God, confess our sin, and dedicate ourselves entirely to Him.

"God's holiness demands our righteousness, and what His holiness demands, His grace and power supplies!"
