For a few weeks I've been using Kagi News. For someone who doesn't like news per se, it's turns out to be a nice middle ground between no news at all versus all news and feel depressed. Observations: News stripped off from opinions. Privacy friendly. No ads, trackers, newsletters, etc. Much less sensational news. Also the amount of news is limited (by design). Good coverage on tech topics. The interface of the Android app is quite responsive, it's pleasant to use. World News tends to be biase...
