This proverb never really meant anything to me until just a few years ago. Before then, it just sounded like a cop out and a way to avoid having to think about what it really takes to make it. Now it's something I often think repeat in my head when new opportunities appear. It's also the main takeaway from Yes Man with Jim Carrey, where he goes from saying no to everything to saying yes.

Looking back at some of the recent things I've done thanks to this mindset, I have gained a bunch of experience I would never have thought to have had.
