Jeem 'New Year, New Hope' Animation

Created an animation for Jeem's 'New Year, New Hope' campaign! Just went live today on Instagram, their homepage and YouTube.

1. Storyboarding 3 revisions, ~1 week
2. Design & Animation ~1 week
3. Sound & Scoring ~4 days

Learnings

• 'Tapered strokes' feature is sick (used for tree branches and roots) After Effects
• 'Repeaters' save loads of time, oh my days (used for fireworks and grass) After Effects
• Don't re-use sounds for similar visual actions, try layering 'em for variety (particularly in tree-growing segments) Logic Pro X
