Pickled Beets

Betty Crocker's Pickled Beets

For one can (15 oz = 444 ml) beets

1/2 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1/2 of the liquid from the can of beets
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 pepper corns
1/4 bay leaf

(optional) sliced onion

Boil all of the ingredients together, and then pour over the canned beets.
