Privacy Policy
MedBilling — by Cebaxo Last updated: July 2026
Overview
MedBilling is a private, local-first application. Your data belongs to you and stays on your device. This policy explains what we collect (nothing), what we share (nothing), and how your data is stored.
Data Collection
MedBilling does not collect any personal data. The app does not include analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or any third-party tracking of any kind. No information about you, your device, or your medical records is ever transmitted to Cebaxo or any third party.
Data Storage
All data you enter into MedBilling — including billing records, bill images, insurance policy details, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using on-device SQLite storage. This data does not leave your device except through actions you explicitly initiate (such as using the Export function to create a backup file, or enabling LAN Access to view your data in a desktop browser on the same local network).
LAN Access
When you enable LAN Access, MedBilling starts a local web server on your device. This server is accessible only to other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network. No data is transmitted over the internet. The server runs only while you have it enabled and stops when you disable it or close the app.
Export and Import
The Export function creates a file (CSV or ZIP) on your device. You choose if and how to share or store that file. MedBilling does not upload export files to any service.
Children's Privacy
MedBilling does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this document. Because MedBilling collects no data, changes to this policy are unlikely.
