A Bargain Glitters and it is Not Gold 61/100 ( #100days writing challenge)

I'm worried now... what if my Powerbeats Pro aren't actually Powerbeats 2? I just did a quick little search—about five minutes—and it turns out they are the latest version of Beats Powerbeats 2. Feeling kinda silly for not putting off the check and doing some research since it really wasn't that important. Honestly, writing and just enjoying the moment is more meaningful than stressing over embarrasment or worrying about getting scammed by some online store. Why do I always want the latest and greatest tech stuff? If it’s available at a decent price, I want to feel like it’s worth it even after a year. Usually, a good deal in tech just means I’ll end up wanting something new soon, or there’s some flaw or something’s wrong. Then I feel ripped off. I tend to be a bargain hunter, I love free stuff, and I think paying full retail is kinda crazy. With bargains in prepaid cell plans, there’s usually a catch—bad customer service, flaws, not as exciting as I thought, you know? That stuff can happen easily because the parts needed for a good smartphone experience over time can be tricky. Sometimes I’m more cautious and careful, but then there are times I get drawn in by cheap deals and freebies. Like I’m on a bit of a gambler’s streak, chasing after deals and bottom-feeding, so to speak. Sure, bargains are nice, but they don’t really satisfy me when it comes to smartphones, cars, or food—that’s just the honest truth. And if you’re an early adopter, you’re probably gonna get burned sooner or later. No doubt about that, especially with stuff like the thin smartphones.
