Stationery Reflections

I recently ran out of loose leaf notebook paper, so I’ve retreated to online shopping. Truthfully, I have a real fondness for hardcover notebooks from France and China—in fact, I already have quite a hoard of them. While browsing online, I discovered a few manufacturers that produce heavier paper specifically designed for liquid ink. I’ve added those to my cart, along with some disc-bound ring binders. I also need to rummage through my lifetime supply of writing ink to find a specific burgundy shade from Italy that caught my eye.

The Digital Hurdle

I attempted to order from a deluxe online notebook store using a generous coupon they sent me. Unfortunately, my account was acting up and the digital coupon wouldn't apply. It seems that particular store is known for "sketchy" coupons. I ended up spending 40 minutes building a cart full of things I don't actually need. Still, as I often say, it’s the process that matters. It was a welcome diversion from the mundane nature of staying indoors during the winter.

Winter Blooms and Rest

Despite the recent icy weather, my flower tree is blooming like it’s spring, nourished by the warmth of the house. It’s a good lesson: bloom whenever possible. I’m grateful to have smiled a few times today, and even more thankful that my sleep duration improved by 30% last night. Signing off gratefully...
