The Easter Hunt Mystery
It was Easter morning and my brother and I came simultaneously out of our rooms. We both looked at each other ready for the exiting day to take place. It was about 9 o'clock at this point and after eating cereal for breakfast waiting until 12 for our friends to come seemed too long of a wait. Our friends were coming over to participate in a back garden Easter egg hunt. Unfortunately with to much excitement our patience couldn't hold on for long enough. My brother and I tied our shoes, grabbed our own Easter decorated bucket and headed out to the back garden. We began searching for Easter eggs in trees, bushes and even on top of our tree house. After searching for around 10 minutes with a huge area to cover something caught my brothers eyes. He shouted at me to come over and in front of him stood a golden egg leaning against a tall and wide tree. He approached the egg and picked it up.

At this point it seemed like a door had been unlocked and the front of the tree slid open. The opening was just large enough for use to squeeze through. Inside the tree was a ladder which we climbed down. This lead to a huge open and dark tunnel. The tunnel was very cold for our t-shirts and shorts and in the centre of the tube there were many puddles of water. The tunnel seemed to be a few hundred meters but at the end was a tiny light. We couldn't see what was beyond the bright light because of the contrast between darkness and the powerful light. As we approach nearer to the light of the tunnel we could see lots of green like a forest and a path cutting through the centre. We stepped into this new green and large environment which was warm but comfortable and a tall structure could be seen beyond the 2 hundred meter path.
