Producing Literary text - Discriptive Writing (formative)

I will be covering the five senses trough-out the text and cover how they are communicated to the reader. The first one I will be starting off with is sight. The first thing you can see is the big stairs that go up at a very steep way. It looks like a staircase from an ancient time. This you can see because of the pillars that are in a bad state which means they have been there for a long time. It also looks like a sort of museum or monument that people can visit. What I think the message of this image is that no matter where you go in life, you will never know where you will end up. This is shown in the image because the staircases go up, and you are unable to see what is behind it. One last thing you can see as well is the contrast between colors. The main contrast here is the color difference between the staircase and the sky which is blue. This sometimes makes the reader more interested or pleased by the different colors, it makes it less boring to look at. The whole structure kind of looks like it was built by the Romans due to the fact that they liked to build in such a style as well. If you look at images you can see the pillars and stuff. The smell which you can sense through the image is an old dusty smell. I am saying this because I have been to places like this and there was always a dusty smell. This you can tell based on the staircase which is old and probably dusty. What also makes me think that it is dry is because normally these things would be in warm places and not in the rain. If it were to be wet it would probably destroy the whole structure. The thing that I can hear in the image is the footsteps of the people going up the stairs. It would not be that loud because the tiles look very old and weak.
