Look Good Feel Good, Feel Good Play Good | Su 12/11

Writing this right before bed, but I don't want to spend like an hour on it like usual

Woke up at 10 after knocking out on the couch at 4 AM

• Made food and watched videos like usual

I talked to Adrian and Annie about visiting LA to see both of them

• I'm still organizing a ticket
• Considering moving my time off to be then instead of before New Year's

Took the plunge and cut my hair

• It took forever to clip it up since I wanted it to be perfect
• Using the clippers was satisfying and surprisingly fast
• It was a little strange cutting the top, but I didn't take much off
  • If anything I may need to take some more off, especially from the back
• Thinning was kind of scary with how much hair falls out, but it still looked fine
• The haircut bled into volleyball a bit, so I drove over in a rush

Volleyball was pretty fun tonight

• Some terrible passes, but also some good ones and decent cover
• Some nice hits and serves too

We started and ended early so I got food with Albert and Min afterwards

• We chatted about volleyball, naturally
  • What makes good sets (placement, height, consider the hitter's point of contact and their position)
  • How I'm all about Boskovic now
  • How DIVA likes to have opposites be emergency setters
  • I got Albert hungry to watch volleyball videos like I do

They also got me to think about staying over at Mom's place for my days in-office

• I'm still trying to figure out the best setup to minimize driving and be in Dallas for volleyball (Wed, Fri, Mon/Tue)

Now I'm actually about to sleep at a reasonable time
