I planned to wake up at 1:30 PM, but around noon there were a bunch of protestors for human rights in Iran walking down the road in front of my building, which woke me up. At that point I didn't think I could fall back asleep.
Eventually I got myself to eat a bit, but I napped for a few hours when I should've been busting my booty to do errands before the flight. Thankfully I packed in time for mom to send me to the airport and she even brought me food, which was a godsend. I bought a LAN ticket off of someone from the Texas Ragers group just before boarding, which is nice to have secured.
Now I'm in this middle seat reading through my journal trying to see how this year was. My knees are achy, but I wonder if being in a plane exacerbates the feeling. Either way I'm sort of happy to be able to rest from volleyball since the body has been taking a beating.
The flight was okay. I didn't feel like continuing to read through my journal, so I tried to rest.
- Waited a while for Adrian at the airport since he had an issue with his car tire pressure
- We went for gas and more air for tires and talked with the attendant, who was staved for human interaction -Adrian can't take time off of work for now and Annie may not be able to hang out, so I'm kind of wondering why I'm here but I'm sure I'll still have a good time
- We went home and Adrian cooked pasta. Ate some bakery stuff and had a ton in total
- He has very ripe bananas so I got the idea to make banana bread, but we have to buy a lot of stuff since he doesn't bake
- Chatted with Matthew about volleyball and hung out
- Knocked out at like 2 and woke up in the middle of the night to turn the lights off
