Hanging Out | Tu 12/20

Adrian planned on working out early in the morning so he gave me melatonin to sleep at 9 PM. I planned to hang out for a bit longer before sleeping, but knocked out and woke up at midnight to do all that.
I woke up for real at 6 for the gym, but Caleb didn't so Adrian started work early and I hung out. At 8 Matthew asked to walk to get coffee together which was fun. We had a little talk about the girl he's talking with and discussed enjoying fashion as opposed to enjoying personal styling.
When we got back I chilled on the futon until lunchtime when I started making cookies out of desperation. While rolling the dough Helen came in with food and Adrian came back soon after to eat. After eating, they hung out and I was still on the couch as if it was my nest.
Eventually the internet started acting up for our computers so I was only on my phone for a bit before napping. We also tried shortening the cookies' bake time and they turned out just like Chef John's from his video, which I'm happy for.
At 4 Matthew stopped by for something and woke me up. The internet still didn't work when I tried it then: I could load one song on Spotify right as I booted my computer, but nothing a minute after.
Around 5 we left to get Caleb for the gym. The dumbbell experience was awful even with access to many heavier ones than I'm used to: so many taken or being taken from me. I managed to get a lot of sets in before having to leave since Helen was joining for dinner. Unfortunately she had to cancel last second, but we already left the gym by then. Then Annie and I also managed to secure some tickets to the Getty this Saturday, which should be a lot of fun.
Adrian, Caleb, and I went to Brothers, a high quality all you can eat kbbq, and it was great. All the meat was tasty and they had a lot of banchan and naengmyeon, even though it was a trap to take up stomach space. Caleb said that I should try food reviewing and that he would watch my food vlogs if I made any, which reminded me of people in college saying the same. Adrian also commented that I seem to love food, specifically noting how I love things like onion that cooked in barbecue fat when most people would only care for the meat. I guess I'll take it as me appreciating food. Despite all the fun and games though, we ate too much and I was in pain walking out.
Back at home Adrian and I baked the last of the cookie dough, but our attempt at a thick cookie didn't work out. He and I also had a scare trying to oust a bug that suddenly appeared. When he got back from work Matthew also said he wants to go to Uniqlo together tomorrow, which should be exciting.
