Brothers and Sisters (2020)

Blissing out to chill step in my headphones while enjoying a peaceful walk of the city, I felt attuned. Roads being quieter, more people are out walking or cycling, shooting their breeze with the universe.
I walked toward a zebra crossing; two young brothers, age about 10 and 7, were cycling toward me. The eldest of the two got onto the zebra crossing, and cars stopped; he then waited, waited for his little brother, who didn't have the same stamina as him. The traffic had to be patient as they both crossed safely and went on their way.
As we advance in life is always better to keep one hand spare to reach back and bring others along. The universe is a vast place to walk alone.
These two young lads demonstrated to me the kindness and compassion are not taught. They are inside us all from birth as the greatest of survival skills.
Brothers, sisters, family, friends, strangers, we are all crossing the road at some time, waiting for others to meet us can only enhance what we find on the other side.
