Came here on**** a whim, and the pastries are good! Had the pear and almond tart and half of the Apple croissant. The pastries are good but the coffee is clearly the side show here.

It lacked a spirit of a mocha. It tasted kinda fake and burnt too. Sipping it a while it ended up not being that bad, but it certainly wasn't my favorite.

TIER PLACEMENT: C, higher end.

5/20/2023 Actually planned my trip for this and also a bit cheaper than most mochas I've had. I can't complain too much about this mocha. It's somehow good but ever-so-slightly lacking in a way that I want more in a good way. The baseline is excellent- good coffee, good chocolate flavor. It is quality in its simplicity but somehow I wanted it to be better. But sometimes simple is king. I think this is a quality mocha. TIER: S, above Cafe June, Below Rise Up ...
