Or rather: Shortcuts to happiness.
For something in so much demand, you would think that happiness is difficult to find. Here are some of the ways to get it faster.
Keep it simple - complexity is not just a killjoy, it also delays happiness. Complexity is not what you had back when you were more happy (usually as a child). Life used to be simple, eat, sleep, spend time with people you love... Happiness was there in abundance. To find it again, simplify your life. Get rid of things, throw away stuff. Most of things we have are not necessary but clutter kills happiness...
Change your expectations. Buddha says (2500 years ago!) that our desires and our expectations create suffering. But your expectations are up to you - challenge them. Question why do you have to own, experience, spend in order to be happy? What are your expectations? Are they realistic? Are they ready to achieve? Can you do without them?
Check your desires. This is simple and obvious but we can easily forget it. We're constantly told to desire more and achieve, own, experience more. Get away from media (including social kind), cancel the series that are created to make you desire more. Happiness is not in "what I want", it is a result of "what I already have".
Change your perspective. ..
