Quick Narrative Writing

Michelle became aware of her special power when she flicked the switch to the broken basement light, out of habit, and the light went on. The switch had never turned on for anyone else, only her. At first she thought that it was just a coincidence, but now that she knows that she has powers, she knows that her powers have something to do with light. She went further down into the basement and began to explore it. While exploring, she manages to find a hidden room in the far left side of the basement. In the past, her parents had never let her enter the basement and she was always curious why. But now that she is aware of the fact that she has special powers, she knows that there is something magical hidden under her house (in the basement).
