God killed giants by himself when needed

God speaks about killing an Amorite himself in the book of Amos.

"Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them,
1Though his height was like the height of cedars
And he was strong as the oaks;
I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below." - Amos 2:9 NASB

The Bible (in this case God himself) compares the Amorites to cedar trees just as it does in other passages with the same and other giant people groups alike.
