God judges the "gods"

Psalm 82 describes God judging the "gods" for judging unjustly. The word "gods" (or "judges" in some translations) is actually the same word in Hebrew that is used for the word "God" in the beginning of the sentence. This is because the word Elohim in singular refers to God and when used in the plural form refers to angelic beings. This topic is discussed by Michael Heiser in his book The unseen Realm.
