Sihon, which means Warrior, was the king of the Amorites for a time. He conquered the Moabites but was later crushed by God's people.

Joshua 13:10 speaks of his kingdom reaching as far as the border of the sons of Ammon (the ammonites). This chapter also describes his destruction by Moses.
