๐บ๐ฆ๐บ๐ธ If the Biden Administration is not intelligent enough to lead the world and do the right thing, they will not be in office for very long. It is vital to European security that we secure the Black Sea region, and there is no other way to secure this region without Ukraine - all of Ukraine, especially Crimea. We want this goal accomplished. Russia's defeat is a given. There is no acceptable reason for failure. Failing to accomplish this goal will be considered proof of incompetence.
As Henry Kissinger noted in his book, Diplomacy, Russia does not negotiate. They do not make compromises. All they do is expand, and expand, and expand until they implode. Even when it is detrimental to their own self-interest, Russia will continue to expand, unless NATO makes it impossible for them to do so. It's a pattern that has been repeated over and over again throughout the centuries regardless of who is in power, a Russian czar, a Russian communist, or the current Russian mafia state. The only way to end Russian expansionism and to secure Europe is to secure the Black Sea region. Get it done.
Below are quotes and links to astute political analysis from foreign policy and military experts that I agree with. As I stated before, my vision is utopian and idealist, but my strategy is realist.
โOccupation of Crimea enables the Russian military to threaten Ukrainian positions from the south and gives Russiaโs Black Sea Fleet a forward base for carrying out long-range attacks,โ retired Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, one of the U.S.โs premiere Ukrainian experts, recently wrote for Foreign Affairs.

"Because of Crimeaโs geographic positioning, the peninsula allows Moscow to threaten both Ukrainian and broader Black Sea maritime security. And this includes things like blockading Ukrainian exports, such as grain, which has already upended global markets. ""Crimea is decisive for this war,โ retired U.S. Gen. Ben Hodges, former commander of the U.S. Army in Europe, told me. โUkraine will never be safe or secure, or be able to rebuild their economy, as long as Russia retains Crimeaโฆ. And I think increasing numbers of people are recognizing not only the necessity of [retaking Crimea], but also the feasibility.โ"
