The Disaster Preparedness, Prevention and Recovery Act

🇺🇸 Liberals propose new legislation that requires disaster preparedness to be mandatory for all state and local governments in the USA. We propose requiring every state and local government to earmark 2% of their revenue for funding for disaster preparedness, prevention and recovery. We also propose that all states and local governments be required to create a disaster preparedness and prevention plan that must be approved by FEMA. This plan should be updated frequently.

Passing this legislation is important to ensure that American people are prepared and protected from natural, as well as manmade, disasters no matter what state they live in.
