Inward winds rustle the amber leaves,
a gentle heart begins to show,
beneath the sky's fading blue,
I watch the light begin to fall.
Soft fields, their colors spread,
the earth hums gently as day wanes thin,
time rolls onward, as it does,
leaving behind its patient grip.
Tender roots cling to the soil,
their strength unbroken through the shift,
life remains in countless forms,
