Focus

I do not want to wonder at the end of my life if I was just focused what I would have become. If I took advantage of those moments that I used to distract myself with meaningful activity, what could become of me? I do not want to become great out of pride, for others to see, but because I want to see what I am capable of, I want to beat myself, I want to help support others, I want to be happy and at peace.
One of the things I am trying to focus in on more is winning the mornings. When I focus in on winning the mornings, I feel better, the rest of the day goes smoother, and I feel like I have stacked a couple wins to start. I am terrible at waking up in the morning, or at least waking up and doing the right thing. I have tried many things to get up, the newest will be to put a frame next to my bed with a picture/quote that reminds me why I get up in the morning.
Focus means being able to eliminate the things that do not drive who you want to become, it means identifying the things that are fundamental to you being excellent. Once we can key in on those things, we are able to identify habits and day to day actions that best align with our future self.
I think when we identify who we want to become, the impact we want to make, we can then identify what to focus on, and it will make us more and more happy. Living a life not in focus (distraction) is one that is boring, over stimulating, and slightly depressing.
