How integral you have become
To me, my life and my soundness of mind--
I owe everything to you.

I hope you never leave my side
And see me through
To the end of this human endeavour
Protect me from the everyday tragedies

Of this lifeless, loveless world
I feel caged
By expectations
Please, set me free.
