Blog Annoucements #1

We launched Listed in 2019 as an experimental feature to give Standard Notes writers a way to publish their work. In recent years, however, the feature has become virtually unused as many other platforms supporting writers have emerged. So we've decided to sunset Listed and stay focused on our founding mission: to build the best privacy-first note-taking app available.

It has come to my attention that this blog platform will end support, and this blog will have to find a new home. I'm not happy about that, of course, since I've been here since 2023 started. I joined this website because of my friend, who has this excellent blog on this website. I chose this because I thought to myself that here I might be free of mimetic desire and those things.

I haven't written as much as I've hoped, but I've written a lot. Some are good and some are bad. I know that I have twenty-seven subscribers. I'm not actually able to see your emails, so I can't export this mailing list somewhere else. I want to move this blog someplace else, and I hope that all of you make the transition, and it might be that it wouldn't happen. I don't know many of you and I'm nevertheless glad for the fact that I've had this small readership in the first place.

I haven't made any plans about where to move this blog next, but once done I shall announce it here and hopefully those of you interested can jump ship to where I continue writing.
