Supreme Court. Our condolences to the friends and family of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. She was admired by many for her commitment to her principles. Now, though, we have even more responsibility to vote and make sure President Trump can continue moving our nation back to conservative and constitutional principles. The Senate Democrats displayed their true colors during the ugly Justice Kavanaugh hearings. They will try to do so again to whoever is selected by President Trump. They would do the same to any one of us.

Voting Absentee voting is going on now; early voting starts on October 15. I'll have more details on where and when to vote during early voting in my next newsletter.

Candidate material. Come by the headquarters and pick up yard signs, bumper stickers, MAGA hats and candidate information. This is the finest HQ we have had in many years, and it's conveniently located just south of the circle in Pittsboro between the Mod and the ABC store. Open weekdays and Saturdays.
Volunteer. All of us have a responsibility to maintain our constitutional government. We must stand against those who want to control our every action and thought and will use any legal or illegal method to gain that control. How are you going to help this election season? Your vote is expected. Your help is needed. Please volunteer for just a few hours at one of the polling locations, or be an inside observer watching for any shenanigans across the voting process. Go to https://www.chathamncgop.com/volunteer_2020 and let us know the country can count on you at this time. If you want to be an inside observer let me know right away - I have to submit your name to the board of elections.
Be brave. Remember you are not alone in this fight, and we need your support.
An inspirational video. Profound wisdom from an Englishman: https://youtu.be/6cRixEuaKRk.
Finally, this week's quote. We live in times that are perilous to our Constitution.
The consequence of citizen inaction, at this perilous moment, is to put at risk the Constitution, our way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If law abiding patriots across the country do not take prudent action, if they remain subdued and silent, then our nation will be fundamentally altered and cease to function as a republic.
