Election Update Nov 17, 2020

Presidential election results are in disarray. Continue to pray that President Trump will prevail.

Recounts

Two races of local interest will go to a recount:

  • County Commissioner District 5: Wilkie / Gomez Flores
  • NC Supreme Court Chief Justice: Newby / Beasley

The Chatham County recount will begin Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 8:00 AM. Citizens will not be allowed to attend in person due to the lack of space in the meeting room. There will be no public input or disruptions by citizens during the recount.
