The Big Sleep | Mo 12/5

I woke up without much sleep again for a KT session, but was still only spectating. Thankfully I got to hear Chitra's child saying hello, which was so adorable I was about to melt and considered turning off my camera. Afterwards I got sucked into researching alligator clips to order along with the hair clippers since tying up my hair yesterday was tedious with my chip bag clips.
Even though I thought I got home at a reasonable time last night, I was surprised to be going to bed at 2 AM. I guess showering and journaling can take a deceptive amount of time, even when I tried sitting on my couch instead of lying in bed and risking dozing off. I'm probably underestimating my procrastinating too though. I also had trouble falling asleep since I couldn't stop thinking about volleyball.
I don't have any more meetings or responsibilities, so I may just nap and continue my errands today. Hopefully people want to play volleyball tonight.
My team also talked about having a holiday party, which seems more like a happy hour/hangout, on Thursday. It seems like fun and the restaurant looks nice, but it's from 3:30 - 5 PM, which is dreadful. I may be able to stay busy afterwards with things like dissolving the trust though, and for a moment I imagined bringing the clippers to work and cutting my hair in the bathroom which was hilarious.
Just now I checked my blog to see how far back it goes and was about to commend myself for not having any girl drama during the month of November, which was much-needed after Freaky Deaky, but then I saw that the 6'1" girl snuck in at the very end. Gigi once commented that 2022 is my year when I told her about everything that was happening, and now I understand exactly what she meant. Hopefully I can end the year without much trouble.
I had to make lunch, but I decided to nap for a bit first. Naturally I ended up napping for like 3 hours and waking up to no pings for work. I continued to put off cooking until Yumei asked to meet to inform me about a few typical responsibilities for team members on call for the week, but it turned into solving an issue and bringing Nonso in, which made things even more confusing. By the end they asked me if I was paying attention and reprimanded me for not taking notes or asking questions during the meeting, which I can’t blame them for since I was out of it.
The meeting went to around 6 PM and I still hadn’t eaten by then, so I snacked and procrastinated on my workout. Eventually I got myself to cook and fold some laundry, but right when I was primed to go lift, I lied down on the couch binging volleyball videos and napped until 1 AM. It’s funny how volleyball either keeps me awake when I want to sleep or lulls me to sleep when I want to stay awake.
Since then I kept watching YouTube and made myself Indomie, which was delicious if it’s any consolation. I should definitely sleep. Thankfully tomorrow seems like an easy schedule and John seems interested in playing volleyball together.
