Himbo Homecoming | Tu 12/27

This entry was condensed since I wrote about it from memory days afterwards. It isn't being published until even later after.

  • Woke up and hung out before getting lunch with Adrian and Matthew. We left for In-n-Out to get coke for the test, but didn't have time to get all of them so called it off.
  • Ate lunch before packing and leaving around 2 PM. Started raining right as I left.
  • Uber ride was strange; nice driver, but a car spun out in the rain and would've hit us if we were a few seconds earlier
  • Even though I was later than I wanted to be, security wasn't bad and I got to the gate in time for boarding.
  • Flight was uneventful, just chilling and napping a bit. Caiti convinced me to hang out tonight though.
  • Mom picked me up from the airport but her driving had me anxious with how bad it was. She also mate getting food a nightmare (impatient to service workers right before closing, complained a lot) and ruined my mood. When dropping me off she tried dumping more crap on me (lots of chocolate, jacket in wrong size like I never stopped growing) and I had more than enough of her by then
  • Walked inside to see dishes and laundry still undone, which was a sad reality check
  • Went to Caiti's and it was some boys playing a card game. I got to enjoy lots of food Caiti had (dong go wings and omelet, salty donuts) which was a treat. We joked around and considered some kind of hangout for new years along with a surprise for Adele's birthday
  • I asked Caiti to measure me with a tape measure and I'm allegedly 195 cm so I may start saying that I'm 6'4".
  • I joked about how I asked Gigi if she went to Times Square for new year's eve when Christmas only just passed and realized that I'm a himbo. Looking it up after the fact, the definition seems to line up: gentle giant, relatively handsome, actually sweet despite looking like an asshole, Kronk from the Emperor's New Groove, naive and dumb, innocent, and kind of like a Golden Retriever (easygoing and simple to maintain a fulfilling and happy relationship with, easy to keep happy)
