Head First

331

I tend to get into work head first sometimes.

There's a beaty in getting to the nitty gritty quickly & efficiently. Not caring about the "etiquette BS", just diving in.

Of course, some people may feel hurt. That's obvious. But in rapidly evolving situations, when there is a lot on the line, what do you do? Walk lightly and be careful not to hurt anybody's feelings or get to work quickly?

Generally, I don't like to rush. I like to consider the next step carefully, always. It's usually not good to make rushed decisions. But sometimes, the situation requires it.

My main lesson from going head first is this: don't turn around. When you make a swift, rapid decision, don't turn around in the middle of executing it. That'll both piss off people and you will not achieve anything.
