There's this new fancy email app called Hey. For people that deal with a lot of email, it might be a lifesaver - it's a complete rethink of email.
Now, I don't get very many emails. I do get quite a few every day, but it's not like I'm drowning - a substantial chunk of my online communication happens through messaging apps.
But this app is just... Delightful. It's very well thought out, incredibly fast, and nicely designed. I get joy from sending emails now. Communicating with people online (which never was fun to me), has slowly started to become fun again.
Sometimes indulging yourself in delight is worth it. Because, all in all, we've got one shot at life - let's enjoy it.
