WhatsApp Transfer

And the other thing is, I've successfully managed to transfer my WhatsApp. I have two WhatsApp numbers: one for personal use. I'm not sure if you have my personal WhatsApp, which I'm currently using with my US number from Google Voice. That's my personal WhatsApp. The second one is the WhatsApp I use with my Malaysian number. You can even call that number directly, like on a regular phone call. I've managed to transfer the Malaysian number to my new phone. Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice my music player for this. The reason is that I don't want to get disturbed by any of these things when I get home.

I experience anxiety every time I receive a message because I feel compelled to think about it. My rule is that once I get home, everything related to work or school is shut down, unless I have scheduled something for later in the day, something specific that I want to do at home. That's fine because I've scheduled it. But apart from that, outside of that scope, I wouldn't attend to it. I don't know; there are some messages I receive that are not urgent, but the senders think they are. In reality, if they could tell me the day after, it wouldn't change much. It's still going to be the same. If they were to inform me at night, I still wouldn't take any action until the next business day. This approach is essential for preserving my mental health and ensuring that I don't get disturbed.

So, yeah, if you've contacted me on WhatsApp using the US number, that's definitely my personal WhatsApp. If, somehow, you contacted me on WhatsApp using my Malaysian number, that's not my personal WhatsApp. I apologize for any confusion, but this is how I've segregated these things. I've experienced issues in the past when I didn't separate them, and it was quite harmful. I didn't like it at all. This way, I have a bit more control.

Speaking of using my US number for WhatsApp, many of my language partners have asked me why I have a US number when I'm from Malaysia. It's really challenging to explain without sounding suspicious. But that's one of the reasons why my conversations don't last; they don't trust me enough. Of course, they don't trust me, but there's even less trust when it appears fishy to talk to someone with a number that doesn't originate from the same country.

Other than that, yeah. I just wanted to share that with you. Bye.
